9Installation of the LP2824 Plus Printer

34. Click Next.

35. Click Add a New Printer.

36. Click Add Port.

37. Enter the IP Address from step 26 (page 8) in both the Port Name and the IP Address.

38. Click OK.

39. Select the newly created port (i.e. LAN_192.168.0.xxx).

40. Click Next.

41. Uncheck Launch installation of Zebra Font Downloader Setup Wizard.

42. Click Finish.

Note: If the System Prepare Wizard appears, you can click cancel - this would simply add another printer.

43. Log back in as a normal windows user.

Currently, you will have two of the same printers installed using different workstation ports you can

do one of the following:

9 Leave the USB connection up and running for troubleshooting purposes. If you choose this

option, ImproMed® recommends not sharing this printer.

9 Unplug the USB cable, remove the USB connection printer by using the Zebra Setup Utilities. This

way you will only have one connection to have to worry about on this particular workstation.

Now that you have the printer installed and configured from one workstation, you can now move on to

the rest using the new IP address that we configured in step 26. To verify that the IP address is what

we assigned it to be, please repeat step 26 whenever necessary.

To install this printer on other workstations, please follow steps 6 - 26 and 31-43.
